Knapsack Raises $10 Million in Series A

Knapsack, a Portland, Oregon–based SaaS design system platform, has raised $10 million in Series A funding.

The round was led by Builders VC, with participation from Crosslink Capital, Epic Ventures, Mana Ventures, and Lorimer Ventures. Previous investors include Alumni Ventures, Ascend, Gradient Ventures, Parade Ventures, Founder Collective, Salesforce Ventures, and Slack Fund.

Builders VC is a venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California, dedicated to investing in and supporting founders who are modernizing antiquated, essential industries through technology and operational expertise. The firm invests in early-stage companies from Seed to Series A across sectors, including industrials, healthcare, agriculture (AgriTech), real estate and construction (PropTech/ConTech), and life sciences.

The company will use the funds to enhance its AI features, including its new MCP server integration and ingestion engine, as well as to grow its team and expand its enterprise customer base.
