Knocknoc Secures Seed Funding Round

Knocknoc, a Sydney, Australia-based cybersecurity software company, has secured a seed funding round.

The round was led by US-based venture capital firm Decibel Partners, with additional support from CoAct and SomethingReal.

Decibel Partners is indeed an independent venture capital firm based in Palo Alto, California, founded in 2019. It focuses on early-stage investments in essential infrastructure software used by developers, data engineers, and cybersecurity teams.

The company will use the funding to support go-to-market efforts, expanding the team, customer onboarding, and further product development.

Founded by Andrew Foster, David Kempe and Adam Pointon, Knocknoc provides a cybersecurity solution to help organizations reduce risk exposure by securing network infrastructure. By linking users' network access to their Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication status, the platform eliminates unnecessary vulnerabilities and helps businesses address compliance challenges. Its platform protects customers' VPNs, firewalls, IP cameras, payroll systems, file transfer appliances, bastion hosts, and other network services, with easy integration into cloud-based infrastructure. Knocknoc serves organizations in critical infrastructure, telecommunications, and media industries across Australia and the US.
