Kosmik Raises €3.3 Million in Seed Round

Kosmik, a Paris, France-based collaborative visual software company has raised €3.3 million in seed funding.

The round was led by Creandum, with participation from existing investors like Alven, Kima Ventures, Betaworks, Amjad Masad (founder of Replit), Andrew Sutherland (founder of Quizlet), and other prominent business angels.

The company will use the funding to scale operations, build more integrations, expand the team, and enhance the platform's capabilities for thinking, curating, and collaborating without constraints.

Founded in 2018 by Paul Rony, Kosmik is a software startup that developed a collaborative visual canvas for capturing, connecting, and sharing information. Kosmik is designed to be offline-first, allowing users access to their universes without an internet connection. The platform prioritizes privacy, encrypts all data on the user's device, and operates on a peer-to-peer basis, eliminating the need for dependence on cloud services. The platform's collaborative features enable users to share their universes as public websites, supporting multiplayer collaboration.
