Kosmos Raises $5M Seed
Kosmos, a Chicago-based startup providing operational intelligence for enterprise support and engineering teams, announced today that it has raised $5 million in a seed funding round. The company, which is officially launching its commercial operations, focuses on helping organizations reduce investigation costs by automating the correlation of signals across disparate IT tools.
The round was led by Norwest, a global venture and growth equity investment firm. No other investors were listed as participants in the announcement.
Kosmos plans to use the new capital to accelerate its product development and expand its market education initiatives as it seeks to provide correlated root-cause intelligence to engineering and support teams.
Founded in 2026 by CEO Sanjay Gidwani, Kosmos provides an AI-native operational intelligence platform. The product connects fragmented data across tools like Jira, Salesforce, GitHub, ServiceNow, and various observability platforms to surface root-cause insights, allowing teams to resolve service incidents faster and prevent recurring disruptions.
