Ladder Health Raises $7M Seed

Ladder Health, a virtual-first pediatric developmental care company, has raised $7 million in an oversubscribed seed financing round to expand access to therapy services for children facing developmental delays and disabilities. The funding will allow the company to address nationwide provider shortages and lengthy waitlists for pediatric developmental care.

The round was led by Nina Capital. Additional investors included Mairs & Power Venture Capital, South Dakota First Capital, 25madison Health, Hatteras Venture Partners, Create Health Ventures, Jumpstart Capital, White Oak Enterprises, Groove Capital, and 7Rock Ventures.

The company plans to use the capital to support expansion across North Carolina, Massachusetts, and Maryland, fund entry into additional markets, enhance its AI-enabled care platform, and deepen partnerships with pediatric practices and health systems.

Founded by Mitch Mudra, Ladder Health provides a virtual-first platform that delivers speech, occupational, physical, and feeding therapy services. The company utilizes telehealth technology and AI-enabled tools to incorporate parents and caregivers directly into the treatment process, allowing therapeutic activities to extend into the home.
