LangWatch Raises €1 Million in Funding

LangWatch, an Amsterdam, Netherlands-based LLMops (Large Language Model Operations) platform, has raised €1 million in pre-seed funding.

The funding round was led by Passion Capital, with strong support from Volta Ventures and Antler.

Passion Capital is a London-based venture capital firm founded in 2011, specializing in early-stage investments in technology startups across Europe. The firm focuses on sectors such as fintech, software, and digital media, providing not only funding but also mentorship and strategic guidance to entrepreneurs.

The company plans to use the funds to further develop its platform, with a focus on scaling its AI evaluation and optimization tools.

Founded in 2023 by Manouk Draisma and Rogério Chaves, LangWatch offers a platform designed to monitor, evaluate, and optimize LLM-powered applications for large AI organizations. The platform features seamless self-hosted deployments, open-source access, role-based access control, and compliance tools. Leveraging innovations like DSPy-based optimizers, LangWatch helps enterprises identify optimal prompts and models.
