LeoMed Raises $2.75 Million in Seed Round

LeoMed, a Montreal, Canada–based health technology startup, has raised $2.75 million in seed funding, bringing its total funding to $5 million.

The round was led by Precicom, with participation from undisclosed angel investors and earlier contributions from Investissement Québec.

Precicom Technologies Inc. is a Thetford Mines–based cybersecurity and IT services firm founded around 2000. It offers a full range of IT governance, managed services, innovation, and cybersecurity solutions.

The company plans to use the funds to grow its team, expand beyond Québec, and enhance its platform with new features, including AI-powered tools.

Founded by Joseph Aubut, LeoMed is a company that focuses on improving patient care orchestration through a no-code platform that enables clinicians to monitor and manage patient recovery remotely. It is fully compliant with Québec's privacy laws and is hosted on Microsoft Azure's Canadian servers. LeoMed is currently deployed in several hospitals and health centers across Québec and aims to reduce rehospitalizations and burnout among healthcare professionals.
