Lightbase Secures €2.2 Million in Funding

Lightbase, a Madrid, Spain-based AI-powered developer tools platform, has secured €2.2 million in pre-seed funding.

The round was led by Picus Capital, with participation from Kfund, Helloworld, and several angel investors, including Jorge Poyatos, Albert Nieto, Christian Beedgen, and Rodrigue Schäfer.

Picus Capital is a global venture capital firm specializing in early-stage technology investments. Headquartered in Munich, Germany, the firm has a global presence through its investment activities. Picus Capital invests in technology ventures across a wide range of sectors, including energy and climate, fintech, enterprise infrastructure, generative AI, cybersecurity, and healthcare.

The company will use the funding to accelerate product development, expand its engineering team, and bring Lightbase’s platform to more companies across Europe and North America.
