Limbic Raises $14 Million in Funding

Limbic, a London, UK-based clinical mental health AI technology company, has raised $14 million in funding.

The round was led by Khosla Ventures, with participation from new investors including Gaingels and Illusian, the family office of Ilkka Paananen, co-founder of Supercell.

Founded in 2004, Khosla Ventures is a venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, California. The firm seeks to invest in companies operating in technology, artificial intelligence, climate, sustainability, enterprise, consumer, fintech, digital health, medtech and diagnostics, therapeutics, and impact sectors.

The company will use the funding to expand its clinical mental health AI solutions to healthcare providers in the United States.

Founded in 2018, Limbic is a company dedicated to enhancing access to mental health services and improving patient outcomes. It specializes in artificial intelligence tools for the mental healthcare sector, focusing on enhancing therapy and clinical processes. The company offers AI-powered clinical assessment assistants and generative AI care companions that aim to improve patient outcomes and reduce administrative burdens for therapists. Limbic has helped over 260,000 NHS patients enter care, releasing over 50,000 clinical hours for NHS services.
