LineWise Raises $1.1 Million Pre-Seed Round

LineWise, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of AI-powered solutions for the manufacturing industry, has raised $1.1 million in pre-seed funding.

The round was backed by A2D Ventures, Y Combinator, Exitfund, REMUS Capital, SBXi Fund, and Team Ignite Ventures.

The company will use the funding to scale LineWise’s AI engineering platform, expand operations in North America and Asia, and enhance its defect prevention and troubleshooting capabilities.

Founded by Tanachart (James) Kujareevanich, Zhichu Ren, and Wenbo Zhang, LineWise is an industrial AI company that serves as a 24/7 “virtual engineer” for manufacturers. Its multi-agent AI system ingests sensor data, event logs, OEM manuals, and past fixes to deliver rapid root-cause analysis and troubleshooting guidance. LineWise helps factories tackle two of the most costly challenges in manufacturing: unplanned stoppages and defect-driven losses. The company has already secured five paid pilots with large manufacturers, including NASDAQ-listed leaders in packaging, food & beverage, and consumer electronics.
