Loadar Raises €3.8 Million in Seed Round
Loadar, a Belfast, Ireland-based startup that provides freight solutions, has raised €3.8 million in seed funding.
The round was led by Frontline Ventures, with participation from existing investor Techstart Ventures.
Frontline Ventures is a venture capital firm focused on globally ambitious B2B (business-to-business) companies across the Atlantic. Specializing in early-stage investments, Frontline Ventures provides strategic capital and support to help B2B startups scale and expand internationally.
The company will use the funding to fuel its expansion into the US market and grow its team.
Founded in 2022 by Ciaran Doherty, Loadar provides a platform for freight procurement and transport management. Its solutions are designed for large enterprises, offering multi-modal capabilities that cover road, sea, air, and rail logistics. The platform is already operational, with customers including blue-chip sustainable packaging providers.
