Lucis Raises $20M Series A

Lucis, a Paris, France-based preventive health platform, has raised $20 million in a Series A funding round, bringing its total funding to $28 million.

The round was led by Singular, with participation from General Catalyst, Y Combinator, and individual investors including Céline Lazorthes (Resilience), Manu Lecomte, and investors behind Runna.

The new funding will support geographic expansion, product development, and continued investment in its AI-driven health companion app.

Founded in 2025 by Maxime Berthelot and Baptiste Debever, Lucis is a preventive health company that provides a data-driven platform analyzing blood biomarkers and using an AI-powered companion app to deliver personalized, science-based health recommendations. The platform combines blood biomarker testing, longitudinal health data, and artificial intelligence to support preventive healthcare and personalized wellness insights. Lucis now serves more than 10,000 users across France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Portugal.
