Lumia, an New York, NY-based AI security and governance platform helping enterprises safely adopt AI and autonomous agents, has raised $18 million in a Seed round.

The round was led by Team8, with participation from New Era.

Team8 is a global venture creation and venture capital fund that builds and invests in companies across cybersecurity, data and AI, fintech, and digital health. The firm combines venture capital with hands-on company building, working closely with entrepreneurs to launch startups from the ground up.
