Lumia, an New York, NY-based AI security and governance platform helping enterprises safely adopt AI and autonomous agents, has raised $18 million in a Seed round.
The round was led by Team8, with participation from New Era.

The firm combines venture capital with hands-on company building, working closely with entrepreneurs to launch startups from the ground up. Its Team8 Health Foundry focuses on developing category-leading health companies that enhance the quality and delivery of healthcare services.
The company will use the funding to expand engineering and research, deepen integrations with major AI ecosystems and enterprise infrastructure, and scale go-to-market efforts in data-sensitive industries.
