Luminary Cloud, a San Mateo, CA-based technology startup that focuses on high-performance computing in the enterprise industrial R&D sector, has officially launched out of stealth with $115 million in funding.

Founded by Jason Lango and Juan Alonso, Luminary Cloud is a company that offers a computer-aided engineering (CAE) SaaS platform aimed at empowering smarter and faster design cycles for engineers. Luminary's platform enables engineers to develop better products in a fraction of the time by leveraging high-fidelity simulations. Luminary's AI-based engineering design copilot, Lumi AI, enhances the user experience by automating manual processes such as mesh generation.
