Lytmus AI Raises ₹5Cr Pre-seed
Bengaluru-based ed-tech startup Lytmus AI has raised ₹5 crore in a pre-seed funding round. The company, which specializes in AI-powered learning tools for students, plans to use the new capital to scale its technology and expand its educational offerings.
Boundless Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm focusing on AI and frontier technology, led the funding round.
Lytmus AI plans to allocate approximately 60 per cent of the raised capital toward product development, strengthening its artificial intelligence capabilities, and hiring talent. The remaining 40 per cent will support operations and growth initiatives as the company works toward expanding its AI mentor platform.
Founded by IIT Bombay graduates Ajit Kumar and Praveen, Lytmus AI focuses on the ed-tech sector by providing an AI-powered learning platform. The company's core product features AI mentors, referred to as teacher twins, which are trained to replicate the teaching styles of top educators to provide round-the-clock support for students preparing for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET).
