Manifold Raises $8 Million Seed Round

Manifold, a San Diego, CA-based AI detection & response (AIDR) platform securing autonomous AI on endpoints, has raised $8 million in Seed funding.

The round was led by Costanoa Ventures, with participation from Cherry Ventures, Rain Capital, Modern Technical Fund, and notable angel investors.

Costanoa Ventures is a specialized early-stage venture capital firm with $2.5B in assets under management. Founded in 2012, Costanoa exists to elevate founders building companies of consequence. The firm leads investments from formation through Series A in applied AI, AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, national security, and fintech. It provides hands-on operational support in areas such as go-to-market strategy and talent recruitment for its portfolio companies.

The company will use the funding to develop its AIDR platform and enhance security for agentic AI systems across enterprise environments.
