Meshy Raises $400M Series B
Meshy, a startup specializing in generative artificial intelligence for 3D modeling, has raised nearly $400 million in a Series B financing round. This latest investment round pushes the company's valuation to over $1.38 billion.
The funding round was backed by IDG Capital, Matrix Partners China, and Monolith Management. Existing shareholders including Granite Asia, Sequoia China, BAI Capital, and Source Code Capital also participated in the round by oversubscribing their allocations.
Meshy plans to deploy the fresh capital primarily to accelerate multimodal foundation model research, enhance core algorithmic infrastructure, and expand its commercial sales footprint across global enterprise markets.
Founded to address bottlenecks in digital asset pipelines, Meshy develops foundational spatial models that synthesize complex 3D assets from text and image inputs. The company's technology aims to streamline workflows for developers in sectors including video games, film production, and spatial hardware by reducing the manual labor associated with traditional polygon modeling and texturing.
