microagi Raises $55M Seed

Microagi, a robotics deployment company based in Munich, has raised $55 million in seed funding. This round, which represents the largest seed financing in German history, will support the company as it expands its industrial automation platform.

The round was led by Hummingbird, a venture capital firm known for backing outlier talent, with participation from Northzone, LocalGlobe, Village Global and redalpine.

The capital will be used to scale Atlas, the company’s data and deployment platform, across major industrial companies globally. The funds will support the deployment of the system to help manufacturers optimize factory operations and improve robot reliability.

Founded in 2025 by former Formula 1 engineers and other experienced technology researchers, microagi provides a data and deployment layer for industrial robotics. Its core product, Atlas, is a hardware and model-agnostic platform that fine-tunes AI models using a customer's own operational data to bridge the gap between initial robotics demonstrations and reliable, long-term performance on a factory line.
