Mio, a Paris-based startup building an AI-powered colleague that operates directly within Slack, has announced a €1.9 million pre-seed funding round as it officially emerges from stealth. The company, founded in 2025, provides a model-agnostic assistant that integrates with existing team workflows to execute tasks, manage information, and proactively assist employees based on company-specific context.

The funding round was co-led by Fabric.vc and Topology.vc.

Mio plans to utilize the new capital to expand its engineering team, accelerate ongoing product development, and scale its customer base across the European and United States markets.

Founded in 2025 by repeat entrepreneur Arthaud Mesnard, Mio is on a mission to shift AI in the workplace from simple chat interfaces to active, task-oriented agents. Its software integrates with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Linear, HubSpot, and GitHub to learn company operations and assist with recurring tasks like meeting recaps, CRM updates, and reporting.
