Mongoose AI Closes Seed Extension

Mongoose AI, a New York-based AI platform for health plans, has closed an oversubscribed seed extension funding round.

The extension included Vertical Venture Partners, Overstory Partners and Connecticut Innovations, with participation from strategic investors.

The company will use the funding to accelerate go-to-market expansion within the U.S. payer market and grow its engineering team, developing its Experience Layer platform.

Founded by Mark Nathan and Scott Johnston, Mongoose AI is a New York-based healthcare technology company building governed AI agents for health plans.
