Institutional backers 20VC and Inception Fund participated in the round, alongside a group of individual investors. These individual investors included founders of Reddit, Instacart, Cruise, Dropbox, Gusto, and Runway, as well as employees from ElevenLabs, Lovable, and OpenAI.
The company plans to use the capital to further its model of combining software and human lawyers to speed document drafting and review, aiming to offer corporate legal work at lower price points than traditional Big Law firms.
