Muybridge Raises $16M Series A
Muybridge, a Norwegian imaging technology company, has raised $16 million in a Series A funding round.
The funding round was co-led by Investinor, Fairpoint, Idekapital, and RunwayFBU, with participation from several Nordic technology founders and operators.
The company plans to use the new capital to support international expansion across Europe and the United States, scale its commercial organization, and further develop its imaging technology platform.
Muybridge is a company that provides a software-defined imaging platform that replaces traditional broadcast camera infrastructure with virtual, real-time camera perspectives for sports and live event production. The platform utilizes arrays of 4K sensors and GPU-powered systems to generate virtual camera perspectives.
