Nectar Social Raises $10.6 Million in Funding
Nectar Social, a Seattle, Washington-based AI-powered agentic social commerce platform, has raised $10.6 million in pre-seed and seed funding.
The round was co-led by True Ventures and GV (Google Ventures), with participation from Trust Fund by Sophia Amoruso, BAM Ventures, Mercury Fund, Charge Ventures, Flying Fish Ventures, XRC Ventures, and FAB Ventures.
True Ventures is a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm specializing in early-stage tech startups, particularly AI, consumer tech, and enterprise software. Founded in 2005, the firm manages over $3.8 billion in assets and has invested in over 350 companies.
GV, founded in 2009 as the venture capital arm of Alphabet, manages over $10 billion in assets. It focuses on enterprise, life sciences, consumer, and frontier technologies. GV supports approximately 400 active portfolio companies across North America, Europe, and Israel. Headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Cambridge, London, and New York.
The company will use the capital to scale its platform, grow its team, and deepen partnerships with disruptor brands across multiple sectors, including CPG, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle.
