Nerdio Raises $500M in Series C at Over $1 Billion Valuation

Nerdio, a Chicago, IL-based automated end-user computing platform, has secured $500 million in Series C funding, bringing its valuation to over $1 billion.

The investment round was led by General Atlantic, with participation from Lead Edge Capital and StepStone.

General Atlantic is a global growth equity firm that provides capital and strategic support to companies across sectors such as technology, healthcare, financial services, consumer, life sciences, and climate. As of October 1, 2024, General Atlantic manages approximately $100 billion in assets across all strategies and operates in 28 global locations, with offices in cities including New York (headquarters), London, Hong Kong, Mumbai, São Paulo, and Munich, among others.

General Atlantic will acquire two seats on Nerdio's board, with Aaron Goldman and Asher Hecht serving as the firm's representatives.

The company plans to use the investment to accelerate product innovation, expand its global presence, and augment its engineering and customer success teams to support rapid growth.

Nerdio provides an end-user computing platform designed to automate and simplify the management of Microsoft cloud technologies, such as Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, and Microsoft 365. The platform helps organizations deploy, manage, and optimize their cloud environments, enabling cost savings, improved performance, and simplified IT operations—without requiring specialized technical expertise. Serving businesses of all sizes, including large enterprises and Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Nerdio supports over 5 million users across 50+ countries.
