NetBird Raises €4 Million in Seed Round
NetBird, a Berlin, Germany-based open-source network security platform, has raised €4 million in seed funding.
The round was co-led by InReach Ventures and Nauta Capital, with support from Antler and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
Founded in 2015, InReach Ventures is a venture capital firm based in London, United Kingdom. The firm seeks to invest in early-stage European startups, focusing on the software and artificial intelligence sectors.
Nauta Capital is a pan-European venture capital firm specializing in early-stage B2B software companies. With offices in London and Barcelona, it manages over half a billion in assets and has a team of 20. The frim invests in B2B SaaS with strong network effects, enterprise tech transforming industries, and deep-tech solutions for large enterprises.
The company plans to use the funds to scale its operations, enhance its platform, and establish a global presence in the growing network security market.
Founded in 2021 by Misha Bragin and Maycon Santos, NetBird provides an open-source network security platform. It simplifies network security for modern enterprises by replacing traditional VPNs with a peer-to-peer, WireGuard-based solution that integrates Zero Trust principles.
