Newsrooms Raises €750K in Pre-Seed Round

Newsrooms, an Austrian-based AI startup providing an AI-supported content creation platform, has raised €750,000 in pre-Seed funding.

The funding round was led by Hermann Futter, with additional participation from Hansi Hansmann and his Hans(wo)men Group.

Hermann Futter is an Austrian entrepreneur and investor, as well as the managing director of Compass Group, a provider of business information in Austria. He has invested in over 50 startups, focusing primarily on B2B SaaS ventures.

The investment will support further development of newsrooms’ AI tools, expansion into European markets, and integration of acquired media platforms.

Founded in 2024 and led by CEO Erek Stoisser, Newsrooms has developed an AI-driven SaaS platform tailored for media companies and corporate communications. Its platform enables users to generate diverse content formats, including articles, press releases, social media posts, and books, from texts, documents, audio, or video recordings entirely without prompts. Headquartered in Austria, newsrooms’ AI-supported tools help communication departments, agencies, and editorial offices produce content efficiently, freeing up time for strategy, creativity, and in-depth research.
