North.Cloud, a New York-based AI-powered cloud optimization platform, has raised $5 million in Series A funding.

The round was led by Companyon Ventures, a Boston-based VC firm that invests in early-stage B2B SaaS startups. The firm combines capital with hands-on operational support to help companies scale their go-to-market strategies.

The company will use the funding to expand its AI-driven platform capabilities, deepen FinOps and GreenOps integration, and accelerate customer growth across multi-cloud environments.

Founded in late 2023, North.Cloud provides an AI-powered cloud optimization platform designed to address the rising costs and inefficiencies of modern cloud infrastructure.
