Nul Raises €840,000 Seed

London-based healthtech startup Nul has secured €840,000 in seed funding to expand its digital alcohol reduction platform and support international growth. The company provides a subscription-based telehealth service that combines remote medical consultations, prescription medication, and behavioral support to help individuals manage their alcohol consumption.

The funding round was led by dmg ventures, the venture capital arm of Daily Mail and General Trust. Additional participants included BYVP and a group of angel investors with expertise in healthcare, technology, and consumer brands.

The company plans to use the capital to support the commercial rollout of its platform across the United Kingdom, expand its clinical and product teams, and prepare for entry into the United States market.

Founded in 2026 by Matus Maar, who previously co-founded Talis Capital, Nul provides a digital platform that integrates pharmacological approaches with behavioral strategies to promote gradual alcohol reduction. The service aims to modernize alcohol treatment by offering an alternative to traditional, in-person rehabilitation pathways.
