Numeral Raises $35 Million in Series B

Numeral, a San Francisco, CA-based AI-powered sales tax compliance platform, has raised $35 million in a Series B funding round, bringing its total funding to $57 million.

The round was led by Mayfield, with participation from Benchmark, Uncork Capital, Y Combinator, and Mantis.

Mayfield is an early-stage venture capital firm with a people-first philosophy and $3 billion under management. The firm specializes in early- and growth-stage investments and has invested in over 550 companies, resulting in 120 IPOs and more than 225 acquisitions. Mayfield’s focus is on early-stage investments, primarily in the seed, Series A, and Series B rounds.

The company will use the funding to advance product innovation, expand globally, and strengthen its AI-driven automation capabilities.
