Openlayer Secures $14.5 Million in Series A

Openlayer, a San Francisco, CA-based unified platform for AI system evaluation and governance at the enterprise level, has secured $14.5 million in Series A funding.

The round was led by Race Capital, with participation from NXTP, KPN Ventures, Mindset, Y Combinator, Quiet Capital, and Telefónica.

Race Capital is a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm founded in 2019. It invests from pre-seed to Series A stages and specializes in early-stage investments in sectors such as data infrastructure, fintech, AI/ML, SaaS, and blockchain technologies.

The company will use the funding to expand its enterprise-grade product capabilities and scale go-to-market efforts globally.

Founded in 2021 by Gabriel Bayomi, Rishab Ramanathan, and Vikas Nair, Openlayer provides a unified platform that supports AI teams across the entire development lifecycle.
