Opennote Raises $850,000 in Funding

Opennote, a San Francisco, CA-based AI-powered education personalization platform, has raised $850,000 in funding.

The all-equity round was led by Afore Capital, with participation from Sancus Ventures, Script Capital, Untitled Ventures, and a group of undisclosed angel investors.

Afore Capital is a venture capital firm focused exclusively on pre-seed investments. Founded in 2016 and based in San Francisco, it backs founders at the earliest stages. The firm provides initial funding, hands-on support, and strategic guidance to help startups reach product-market fit and scale.

The company will use the funds to support its international expansion, scale operations beyond California’s Bay Area, and hire technical talent.
