Oplane Raises €4.5M Seed
Malmo-based Oplane, a cybersecurity startup specializing in automated threat modeling for AI-driven development teams, has raised €4.5 million in a seed funding round. The investment will support the company's efforts to expand its commercial footprint across Europe and enhance its platform integrations.
This round was led by Seed Capital, with participation from existing investor Icebreaker.vc. Additional angel investors joining the round include Emil Eifrem, Robert Lagerstrom, and Joakim Nydren.
Oplane intends to use the capital to scale its go-to-market operations throughout Europe. Additionally, the company will focus on integrating its platform with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot, while growing its team through strategic hires in software engineering, cybersecurity, QA, and go-to-market roles.
Founded in 2022 by Emil Kvarnhammar, Oscar Andersson, and Anders Soderling, Oplane provides an agentic security platform designed for modern AI coding teams. The company aims to solve the challenge of architectural risk in the age of AI by automatically mapping codebase architecture and providing real-time, context-aware security remediations directly within developer workflows.
