Parallel Web Systems Raises $100M Series B

Parallel Web Systems, an artificial intelligence startup led by former Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, recently raised $100 million in a Series B funding round. This investment propelled the company's valuation to approximately $2 billion, which is equivalent to Rs. 19,020 crore in Indian currency. The company focuses on creating infrastructure that enables AI agents to work more effectively.

The Series B funding round was led by Sequoia Capital, with additional participation from prominent investors such as Khosla Ventures and Index Ventures.

The new capital will be primarily allocated to expanding the firm’s sales team and accelerating research into long-horizon agents. These advanced AI models are designed to operate in the background for extended periods, completing multi-step projects with minimal human intervention.

Founded in 2025 by Parag Agrawal, Parallel Web Systems aims to build the future of AI agents. The company's mission is to create tools that allow AI systems to browse the live web, access real-time information, fill out forms, and execute complex tasks autonomously, going beyond the limitations of basic AI that relies solely on historical data. Currently, over 100,000 developers utilize the platform to build bots for diverse applications, ranging from legal research to processing insurance claims. The company serves major clients including Notion and several large banks.
