Patlytics Raises $4.5 Million in Seed Round
Patlytics, a San Francisco, CA-based AI-powered patent workflow platform, has raised $4.5 million in seed funding.
The round was led by Gradient, with participation from notable investors such as 8VC, Joe Montana’s Liquid 2 Ventures, Tribe Capital, Vermilion Ventures, Gaingels, Alumni Ventures, Position Ventures, as well as undisclosed angel investors, including select partners from premier law firms and Datadog President Amit Agarwal.
Gradient Ventures is Google’s AI-focused venture fund, investing in and connecting early-stage startups with resources, innovation, and technical leadership in AI. The fund focuses on helping founders navigate the challenges in developing new technology products, using the latest best practices in recruiting, marketing, design, and engineering. Gradient was founded in 2017 and is based in Palo Alto, California.
The company will use the funding to further enhance its AI-powered platform, enabling the automation of critical aspects of the patent process. Additionally, the investment will fuel efforts to expand the company's reach and deepen its partnerships across various industries.
