PhysicsX Raises $300M Series C
PhysicsX, a London-based startup that develops artificial intelligence models for engineering and manufacturing simulations, has raised $300 million in a Series C funding round. This latest capital injection brings the company to a valuation of $2.4 billion, signaling significant investor interest in the industrial AI sector.
The funding round was led by Temasek. Additional investors participating in the round include Intrepid Growth Partners, M&G Catalyst, Nvidia, and Applied Materials.
The company plans to use the capital to scale its operations and advance its Large Physics Models, aiming to further compress engineering simulation cycles for complex industries such as aerospace, semiconductor manufacturing, and energy systems.
Founded to modernize traditional computer-aided engineering, PhysicsX provides software that enables engineers to simulate aircraft parts, vehicle dynamics, and energy systems in seconds. By training AI models on physical systems, the company helps industrial enterprises optimize designs, improve manufacturing efficiency, and shorten development timelines.
