Pinkfish AI Raises $7.6M in Pre-Seed Round

Pinkfish AI, a San Francisco, CA-based generative automation platform, has raised $7.6 million in pre-seed funding.

The round was led by Norwest Venture Partners, with participation from Storm Ventures and angel investors.

Norwest Venture Partners is a global venture and growth equity investment firm managing over $15.5 billion in capital. The firm invests in early- to late-stage businesses across key sectors with a focus on enterprise, consumer, and healthcare. Norwest has offices in Menlo Park and San Francisco, Calif.; Mumbai, India; and Tel Aviv, Israel.

Norwest Partner Scott Beechuk will join Pinkfish AI’s board of directors.

The company will use the funds to accelerate product innovation and usher in general availability.

Founded in 2024 by Charanya Kannan and Ben Rigby, Pinkfish AI offers a generative automation platform to empower anyone to create and manage automation through natural language conversations—without coding. The platform combines generative AI, API integrations, browser automation, LLMs, document processing, and 200+ integrations in one platform. Pinkfish’s customers include IPSY, Humach, Sage Publications, Elevate, and Talkdesk.
