Plino Raises €650,000 in Funding

Plino, a Turin, Italy-based startup leveraging generative AI to simplify financial planning for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), has raised €650,000 in funding.

The round was backed by Exor Ventures, Berkeley SkyDeck Europe, Techaround.vc, Zooga.vc, and several business angels, including CFOs and accountants.

The company will use the funding to accelerate AI feature development, expand its product and sales teams, and strengthen partnerships with professional firms and trade associations.

Founded in 2024 by Pietro Galimberti, Viola Bonesu, and Enrico Castelli, Plino is an AI platform designed to simplify financial data analysis for SMEs. The platform uses generative AI to streamline the analysis of accounting, cost, revenue, and cash flow data. Headquartered in Turin, Plino already supports more than 100 SMEs across Italy in sectors such as manufacturing, services, food, hospitality, and construction.
