The round was led by Osney Capital, with participation from Superseed, Tiny.vc, and Rule30, alongside notable angel investors from ForgeRock, Digital Shadows, Zscaler, Rapid7, Egress, and ComplyAdvantage.

Osney Capital is a venture capital firm that focuses exclusively on early-stage cybersecurity companies in the UK, with an expanding focus on Canada. It targets pre-seed and seed-stage startups, providing capital and deep domain expertise during the earliest stages of growth. Initial investments typically range from £250,000 to £2.5 million, with capacity for follow-on investments in Series A rounds.

The company will use the funds to accelerate product development, scale go-to-market operations, and expand globally as demand for automated identity security intensifies.

Founded by Jacob Prime and Harry Lucas, Ploy is a cloud-first identity governance and administration (IGA) platform that automates user access management across the entire employee lifecycle. The platform streamlines identity processes like onboarding, offboarding, access reviews, and compliance checks. Ploy integrates seamlessly into distributed technology stacks, reducing manual effort and security risk through AI-driven intelligence and automation. Headquartered in Shoreditch, London, Ploy’s growing customer base includes companies such as Payfit, Not On The High Street, Welcome to the Jungle, ComplyAdvantage, Liberis, and Times Higher Education.
