Porters Secures €2.7 Million in Funding

Porters, a Zurich, Switzerland–based fintech startup developing AI-based banking operations software, has secured €2.7 million in a pre-Seed round.

The round was led by Earlybird, with participation from Seedcamp, fintech founders, and industry professionals, including angel investors Martin Kassing, Alexandre Prot, Lukas Zörner, Adrien Treccani, Casper Wahler, and Jonathan Brander.

Earlybird is a venture capital firm with over €2.5 billion in assets under management. Founded in 1997, the firm specializes in backing technology-led companies across all growth stages—from pre-seed to Series A—with a focus on digital technologies and healthcare.

The company will use the funding to further develop its AI platform and scale it to support additional back-office services for banks and fintechs.

Founded by Konstantin Kotulla, Christopher Barth, and Dr. Michael John, Porters is building an AI-native platform to automate regulated back-office workflows and improve efficiency for banks and fintechs. By combining AI-based technology with a vertical service offering, the platform aims to reduce manual oversight and improve operational productivity without increasing headcount. Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, their mission is to redefine financial service operations for the AI era.
