Prodlane Raises €4M in Funding
Prodlane, based in Leipzig, Germany, is a software company that develops MAIA, an AI-powered knowledge management assistant designed to help technical teams preserve and access industrial expertise. The company has raised €4 million in new funding to support its next phase of growth.
The funding round was led by TGFS Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen, a public venture fund and returning investor. SBG also participated as a new investor through the Innovationskapital Sachsen program.
Prodlane plans to use the new capital to expand its development, sales, and marketing teams, with a strategic focus on increasing its presence in the DACH region including Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Founded in 2021 by Carolin Maier and Mathias Jakob, Prodlane provides an AI assistant named MAIA that helps industrial firms and technical teams capture, index, and retrieve deep institutional knowledge from complex technical documentation, scans, and drawings to prevent expertise loss.
