Prodlane Secures Funding Round
Prodlane, a Leipzig, Germany-based startup that provides an AI-powered platform MAIA (Mittelstand AI Assistant) for complex, technical business knowledge, has secured a seven-figure seed funding.
The round was led by TGFS Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen and supported by business angels and a Swiss family office.
The TGFS Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen provides equity capital to technology-focused founders in the seed and start-up phases. Established in 2008 by the Free State of Saxony and local financial institutions, it has supported over 100 start-ups. Now in its third fund generation (2023), TGFS focuses on innovative companies in ITC, semiconductor, medical technology, life sciences, energy, and new media sectors based in Saxony.
The company will use the funds to further grow the company, expand the sales team, and develop additional technical features of the product.
Founded in 2021, Prodlane developed MAIA, an AI-powered platform designed to transform knowledge management in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly in industrial sectors. MAIA optimizes information-intensive work processes in manufacturing companies by enabling fast and precise access to complex data. The platform helps companies efficiently manage and retrieve business-critical knowledge, including product manuals, construction plans, data sheets, and regulatory documents.
