Proffer Raises $600,000 in Seed Round

Proffer, a Brazil-based SaaS platform specialized in pharmaceutical pricing models, raised $600,000 in seed funding.

The round was led by Criatec 4.

Criatec Fund IV is an early-stage venture capital fund co-managed by Triaxis Capital and Crescera Capital. The fund is located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The fund targets the technology sector. It will invest up to 20 million BRL in 25-25 companies with revenue up to 16 million.

The company will use the funding to grow in the retail and distribution sectors and develop pricing solutions for additional market segments.

Founded in 2021 by Edmilson Varejão and Vinicius Pantoja of AI Consult, Proffer is a SaaS startup that developed a smart pricing system for the pharmaceutical sector partnering with Farma Ventures. With a focus on optimizing profits and streamlining management processes, Proffer initiated pilot projects with Drogal and Indiana. Currently, Proffer has 50 customers and operates in more than 1,500 pharmacies in Brazil.
