Protege Secures $10 Million in Seed Round
Protege, a New York-based platform for AI training data, has secured $10 million in seed funding round.
The company has also launched its AI training data platform to address one of the biggest issues in AI development—sharing and accessing the right training data.
The round was led by CRV, with participation from SV Angel, Liquid 2 Ventures, Bloomberg Beta, Flex Capital, Adam D'Angelo, and Travis May, among others.
Founded in 2024 by Bobby Samuels and Travis May, Protege has developed an AI training data platform. Protege’s platform aims to streamline and secure the process of making proprietary data available to AI developers. The company targets data that is particularly impactful for AI but has traditionally been restricted or proprietary. By empowering data holders and connecting them with AI developers, Protege supports the creation of thoughtful AI solutions.
