Rad AI Raises $50 Million in Series B

Rad AI, a San Francisco, CA-based generative AI company for healthcare, has raised $50 million in Series B funding, bringing its total raised to over $80 million.

Khosla Ventures led the round, with participation from WiL (World Innovation Lab) and existing investors ARTIS Ventures, OCV Partners, Kickstart Fund, and Gradient Ventures (Google's AI-focused fund).

Founded in 2004, Khosla Ventures is a venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, California. The firm provides venture assistance to entrepreneurs in AI, sustainability, enterprise, consumer, health, and frontier technologies.

The company will use the latest funding to accelerate the development and deployment of Rad AI's products, driving further innovation and impact in healthcare.

Founded in 2018 by Doktor Gurson and Jeffrey Chang, Rad AI empowers physicians with AI to save time, reduce burnout, and improve the quality of patient care. Leveraging its generative AI models trained specifically for radiology and healthcare, the company's AI streamlines repetitive tasks such as physician dictation and follow-up care management.
