RagaAI Raises $4.7 Million in Seed Round

RagaAI, a San Francisco, CA-based startup that emerged from stealth with an AI testing platform called RagaAI DNA, has raised $4.7 million in seed funding.

The round was led by pi Ventures, with participation from Anorak Ventures, TenOneTen Ventures, Arka Ventures, Mana Ventures, and Exfinity Venture Partners.

Founded in 2016, pi Ventures is a venture capital firm based in Bengaluru, India. The firm seeks to invest in companies operating in machine learning, the Internet of Things, electronics, drones, and cyber security sectors.

The company will use the funds for research and development, team expansion, and raising awareness in the AI community through strategic partnerships.

Founded by Gaurav Agarwal, RagaAI is an AI testing and safety platform that helps enterprises mitigate AI risks and make their models secure and reliable. The end-to-end AI testing platform works with AI-first companies and helps enterprises drastically improve their AI development pipeline and prevent inefficiencies and risks post-deployment. The platform uses automation to detect, diagnose, and fix AI issues, offering over 300 different tests to identify problems like data drift, edge case detection, poor data labeling quality, bias in the data, lack of model robustness, or adversarial attacks.
