Recyda Raises €6.3 Million in Series A

Recyda, a Freiburg, Germany-based sustainable packaging management provider, has raised €6.3 million in Series A funding.

The round was led by Cusp Capital, with participation from existing investors, including Speedinvest and Futury Capital.

Cusp Capital is a venture capital firm specializing in European software and technology, investing in early-stage companies poised to redefine their industries through new socioeconomic and technological paradigms. Based in Essen, Germany, Cusp Capital has invested over €600 million in notable companies.

The company will use the funding to expand internationally and enhance product development.

Founded by Christian Knobloch, Vivian Loftin, and Anna Zießow, Recyda offers a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform for sustainable packaging management which helps internationally positioned packaging manufacturers, brand owners, and retailers manage packaging data and adhere to the complex international landscape of sustainability requirements. Recyda's solution supports companies in packaging R&D, master data management, and financial reporting and forecasting. The company partners with major brands like Beiersdorf, Kao, and Trolli.
