Rivr Raises $3.6M CAD in Seed Funding
Rivr, a Montreal, Canada-based AI-powered in-media search and content discovery platform for video creators and brands, has raised $3.6 million CAD ($2.5M USD) in seed funding.
The round was led by GreenSky Ventures, a Toronto-based early-stage venture capital firm focused on Canadian B2B and deep-tech startups. Founded in 2010, GreenSky has raised six funds totaling around C$70 million, investing in seed and Series A rounds.
The company will use the funds to grow its team and further refine and commercialize its video search and discovery platform.
Founded in 2020 by Brandon Weinman-Tyre and Marc Singer, Rivr (formerly Botni.Vision) is a deep-tech company that provides in‑media search and content production platform designed for creators, streamers, and brands.
