Robin AI Raises $26 Million in Series B

Robin AI, a London and New York-based AI-powered legal copilot, has raised $26 million in Series B funding.

The round was led by Temasek, a global investment company based in Singapore. Other investors include QuantumLight, Plural, and AFG Partners.

Incorporated in 1974, Temasek is an investment company based in Singapore. Supported by 13 offices across 9 countries, Temasek owns a S$382 billion (US$287b) portfolio as of 31 March 2023, mainly in Singapore and the rest of Asia.

The funding will be used to expand the team, particularly in the US and Singapore, and invest in AI and machine learning expertise.

Founded in 2019 by Richard Robinson and James Clough, Robin AI is a Legal tech company that leverages generative AI to automate the drafting and negotiation of contracts, as well as extracting information from entire contract repositories. The platform, available as a Microsoft Word add-in, reduces contract review. The legal copilot has gained traction, particularly in the private equity sector, with customers including Pepsico, PwC, Yum! Brands, AlbaCore Capital Group, and BlueEarth Capital. The company has a 100+ team of full-time employees, including legal professionals and software engineers. The Robin AI team is based in London and New York but operates globally.
