Rylo Raises $85M Growth Capital
Rylo, an AI-powered communication platform based in New York and Tel Aviv that develops accessibility tools for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community, has raised $85 million in growth funding. This round brings the company total funding to over $100 million.
The funding was led by Canaan, with participation from General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund, Vertex Ventures, and Contour.
Rylo plans to use the new capital to accelerate the development of reliable, accurate, and accessible communication tools. Specifically, the funds will support the expansion of its AI-powered suite, including real-time captioning, sign language translation, and new features such as workplace accessibility tools, sentiment analysis, and fraud detection.
Founded in 2021 as Nagish by CEO Tomer Aharoni, Rylo is a mission-driven company providing AI-powered communication solutions for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. The platform offers real-time captioning, text-to-speech services, and sign language translation to bridge communication gaps in personal and professional settings.
