Sherpa Raises $2.2M Pre-seed

Sherpa, a Germany-based startup developing an AI-powered operating system for external workforce management, has secured $2.2 million in pre-seed funding.

The funding round was co-led by Seedcamp, DN Capital, Activant Capital, and Brighteye, with participation from several operator angels.

The company plans to use the new capital to expand its enterprise deployments, strengthen integrations with existing enterprise platforms, and advance its compliance and governance initiatives.

Founded by Tristan Deschler, Tim Altpeter, and Max Lang, Sherpa is developing an AI operating system that manages the complete lifecycle of external work—from request and onboarding through delivery and payment. The platform is designed to unify the management of contractors, freelancers, consultants, service providers, and AI agents within a single operating framework.
